our breath
begets the shadows
but our skins bloom
in the light
our playtime bass line
provides the cues
through largo rouges
and allegro blues
we braid the spectrum
translating its prism
into the undulance
of audible hues
vibrating till breathless
in the current of song
as fish in flight
from a tenebrous pond
iridescent transcenders
who flash and abscond
within a maelstrom
of rainbow light
