Calm and Recover. Call and Response. The two pieces (will(O) and (un|re)cover) are about accepting who we are and focusing on what we can do together. Repetition, grooving, and teasing resistance are recognized throughout the physical expressions and live soundscape. In order to respond authentically to movement, will(O) and (un|re)cover provide space for the viewer and performer to remove unwarranted pressure in the mind and body. These works move with a need to support one another while uncomplicating the complicated and standing for unity! -Peter Chu
