Our friends at Gibney Dance are currently holding auditions for 52-week multiple-year dancer contracts.
They are seeking extraordinary dancers with strong professional experience who are ready for a broad-based position that will allow them to continue to grow as artists while making an impact in the local and global community.
In addition to actively collaborating on the development and performance of new work and guest repertory, company members perform, teach and serve as social justice advocates. Specific responsibilities include: international residencies; an active performance schedule including annual multi-week NYC seasons; facilitation of Community Action movement workshops with violence survivors; social justice advocacy teaching and advising in the Gibney Dance’s Professional Training and International Visa Programs; and administrative mentorships.
