About Jack Bialosky
Jack Alan Bialosky Jr., AIA is Senior Principal and Managing Partner at Bialosky + Partners Architects, an AIA Ohio Gold Medal Firm. In his former life on the East Coast, Jack taught at the Boston Architectural Center and The Graduate School of Design at Harvard. In this life though, Jack serves as President-Elect for AIA Cleveland at a time he believes is the golden age for Clevelanders and Architects in Cleveland. The finer things in life to him are family, woodworking, dogs and motorcycles. As a graduate with distinction of the Florence Shapiro Ballroom Classes (don’t ask what year), Jack has made a long career of making a fool of himself in public places. Why should this night be different from all others? Jack promises not to go pro if he wins the contest, but he may have earned himself a trip to Las Vegas.
A Bit More About Jack…
- How did you become involved with GroundWorks DanceTheater?
I became involved in Groundworks by attending last year’s event and through the relentless recruitment effort of former celebrity dancer Andrea Grodin.
- What are you doing to prepare for It Takes Two?
I am cutting down on carbs and dairy products and increasing my efforts at guided meditation to control my breathing.
- What will make your performance unlike any other participant?
I am not sure your audience has ever seen a dancer with two left feet before.
- Why should fans cast their vote for you to take home the big prize this year?
Fans should cast their vote for me because a vote for me is a vote for world peace, and who doesn’t want that?
