Dancer; Performing Trainee with Thodos Dance Chicago from 2016-2017; earned a BFA in Dance from Ball State University graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors; attended intensives with the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Visceral Dance Chicago, and David Dorfman Dance; performed at the DUMBO Dance Festival (2013) and the Midwest RAD Festival (2015); dance teacher and choreographer in the Midwest.

Tyler Ring is a native of Muncie, Indiana, where he graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Dance from Ball State University. He has also studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and Visceral Dance Chicago. As a performer, Tyler has danced new works by Sidra Bell, Alex Ketley, and Melissa Thodos, and performed excerpts from the repertoire of Ohad Naharin, Alejandro Cerrudo, Robert Moses, Nacho Duato, and Nick Pupillo. Tyler is also a dance maker, and his choreography has received national recognition, including being chosen as the first alternate for performance at the American College Dance Association National Conference at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. After spending last season as a performing trainee with Thodos Dance Chicago, Tyler is thrilled to be joining GroundWorks for his first season.
