Michael is a 2015 graduate of The Juilliard School. Filipino, born in Italy, Michael has premiered new creations by choreographers Monica Bill Barnes, Emery LeCrone, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Kyle Scheurich, Taylor Drury, Jarek Cemerek and Marco Goecke. He performed excerpts of repertoire by José Limón, Murray Louis, Aszure Barton, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Adonis Foniadakis and Crystal Pite. He was part of Artemis in Athens by Lar Lubovitch, which premiered at the Joyce Theater (NYC) in October 2014. A month later he previewed excerpts of Larry Keigwin’s work at the Guggenheim Museum’s Works and Process. He furthered his training traveling and participating in festivals and summer programs in Canada and Europe such as Nederlands Dans Theater Summer Intensive (Den Haag), Nulty Bod Festival (Prague), HJS Summer Intensive (Amsterdam), Cedar Lake 360 (NYC), Springboard Danse Montreal (CAN) and Assemblee Internationale 2013 (Toronto). This is Michael’s first season with GroundWorks.
